Situated 64km from Salalah, the town of Mirbat is the ancient capital of the Minjawis. Mirbat is home to some of the most beautiful houses in the Dhofar province.
Ayn Razat is a garden and springs, the main water source of dhofar. These are also some small stream on different parts and that stream lined to the center pool located near car of Jebel Qara. Ayn Razat has an equatorial climate zone in one of the hottest place on the Earth. This place has green surrounding and small a cave walking about 100 steps and small water canals.
Al Baleed, one of the leading tourist attractions Salalah is a very renowned archaeological site. The AI Baleed in Dhofar was founded in the 10th century. Al-Baleed was the Dhofar region’s primary settlement from the 8th to the 16th century. There is an ancient city mosque to explore and also Land of Frankincense Museum chronicles human settlement in the area since 2000 B.C.E., this one of the place UNESCO listed as World Heritage Sites.
Tawi Atayr/Sink Hole is also known as the well of birds, it has a huge natural sinkhole over 100 meters wide and 211 meters deep and one of the deepest in the world. This place is house for many species of birds; this place is at its prime on monsoon seasons. This place fill up with birds and that is a scintillating view.
Ayn Sahalnoot is one of the green beds in Salalah, and it’s very popular place especially in monsoon season. The green valley gives you mesmerizing view for your eyes. Al Mughsayl Beach is one of the most famous tourist places in dhofar. The beach is the most attractive part here. It is a long stretch of blue water sea and white sand. The landscape is pretty nice and the beach has mountains on both the sides which make this place look like a picnic spot and also photogenic. There are also some caves chipped in limestone.
Wadi Darbat is a splendid lush green valley with the surrounding hills having small caves which people can hike up! It's the perfect spot for a little family picnic. it is a natural park with majestic views of water falls, lakes, mountains, caves, wildlife and lush garden vegetation. During monsoons you can experience a good scenic waterfall in Wadi Darbat.
Humran spring located 29km from Salalah. This spring collects in a small well in the middle of a rural road at the northern rim of the plain. Of more interest are the beautiful avenue of tall coconut palms and a giant breadfruit tree that leads towards it, a peaceful place to watch wagtails and bulbuls splashing in the outflow.
Hasik is situated 205km from Salalah. Hasik is worth the two-hour drive from Salalah for the journey more than the destination. The road is sealed and not particularly exceptional between October and June, but in the remaining months, luminous clouds billow down from the mountain and high winds whip across the water, sending the surf backwards as the waves roll forwards. Hasik's chain of hills is broken by wadi’s and small creeks with sandy beaches. Hasik itself, with its unique harbor, was well-known to Arab seafarers as a trading center on the Arabian Sea, particularly for merchants trading in top quality hawjari frankincense. Hasik has a natural sheltered harbor.
Jabal Ittin is a mountain area; it is just a 5 minute drive from Salalah, it’s a mountain range. From the top you can see the glowing Salalah city on night with lights illuminated. Ittin is just 10 minutes’ drive away from the Airport.

Jabal Samhan, A Nature Reserve is a nature reserve mountain range in Oman; this peak has good scenic view from the top. It heights around 2900 feet tall. On the top you can view layers of cloud below the altitude you stand. It’s a very aesthetic and photogenic place.
